Part Time (2-18 year olds)


	Curriculum Tap
	Students learn skills of time, signatures and rhythm, increasing the speed of execution and accuracy of steps. Students attain the ability to be able to perform all steps with clear accurate sounds. Working through combinations with increases in timing and rhythmic patterns.

Primary (5-7 years of age)

Basic preparation focusing on rhythm and timing with correct technique. Basic toe-and-heel beats, springs and step-ball change. Basic combination work.

Sub Junior (7-10 years of age)

Previous basic knowledge of movement and rhythm needed. More combination skill work. Development of timing and variation in speed. Tap springs, nerve beats, single and double wing preparation on barre, single-time step, double grab-offs and toe-heel turns.

Junior (10-12 years of age)

Further development of speed and execution with complex combination work. Single and double wings in centre; single, double and triple time step; single grad-offs with precise technique and rhythm.

Pre-Intermediate (12-14 years of age)

Intermediate Advanced Tap (14 years and over)
